The cultivation of vines in the Azores goes back to the beginning of the settlement, the result of a work developed by the force of arms, when cultivating the vine in apparently unproductive lands.Wine was very well-known and famous for the Czars of Russia, today the fields "dressed" of vineyard and divided by corrals already valued to the Island varied international prizes.

WINE TOUR

The activity includes: walking tour in the Vinhas da Criação Velha, visit to the Wine Museum, wine tasting at the Cooperativa Vitivinícola in Pico Island, visit to the typical Cachorro and Lajido villages, visit to Buraca, lunch at a typical restaurant, transfers, insurance and accompaniment with guide of the certificate of the Natural Park of the Pico Island.
