PICO DAY TOUR

Discover the landscape of Vine Culture, UNESCO World Heritage, the whaling tradition and the natural beauty of biodiversity, as well as different and unknown places for visitors, always accompanied by different perspectives of the largest mountain in Portugal.

The activity includes: a professional guide (certified by the Azores Natural Parks), admission ticket and guided visit to the Museum of Whalers and Interpretive Center, lunch at the restaurant with local fresh products (in case of food restrictions report), Pico's chesse, wine and liquor tasting.

TOUR PICO

Our itineraries lead you to discover the landscape of the vineyard culture, classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, the cultural marks of the territory associated with the memory of the whaling, the experience by the sea, and we also share with you the lava mysteries of the island!

VOLCANOES LAGOONS

A discovery of the Central Plateau of Pico Island, one of the 7 Natural Wonders of Portugal. Here we can find about two hundred extinct craters and many volcanic lagoons! We also discovered the interior of a volcano, with the visit to the Tower Cave, Portugal's largest lava tube!

The activity includes: itinerary through the central plateau of the island, visit to the Tower Cave, lunch picnic, transfers, insurance, and accompaniment with certified guide of the Natural Park of Pico Island.

WHALES & HERITAGES

This route takes us to the oldest village on the island of Pico, in a script where the history of whaling reinvents itself in the streets of Lajes do Pico!

The activity includes: departure of 3 hours at sea for whale watching, walk through the whaling village of Lajes do Pico with rail to Vigia da Queimada, entrance to the Whalers Museum, lunch in a typical restaurant, transfers, insurance, and guided tour with a certified guide of Natural Park of Pico Island.
